Edsa-Ortigas Local
Lokal ng Ortigas has moved last November 2007 to its new location. From Megaplaza Hotel behind Robinson Galleria to its new well viewed location at SEC building right across POEA.
It has moved because member’s number has grown and the old lokal is not enough to accommodate the brethren. At the same time, the old lokal is not easy to find as if it is hidden. But now it is along Edsa, so a name change was made from “Lokal ng Ortigas” to “Lokal ng Edsa-Ortigas” (some mistakenly calls it lokal ng Ortigas Edsa).
The members who attends comprise mostly of the working class as the lokal was primarily put up for members who are working near Ortigas Business Center. The lokal has an image of being the lokal of upper class brethren… but it is not. Even though the lokal is fully air conditioned and uses an overhead projector, there are only an average of 50 registered members in the lokal. Such small number of members will not be able to sustain such a lokal if not for the support of the hundred (transient) members from other lokals who are regularly attending here after their work.

I hope the following pictures will help you in locating our new local:
1. Facing Edsa Shrine, turn 90 degree clockwise and you will see the sidewalk.
2. You are now looking Edsa going north. Walk straight on the sidewalk and walk across edsa (please be on a lookout for vehicles, stay safe).
3. You are now looking back from where you came from (Edsa Shrine). After crossing Edsa turn right and walk under the bridge.
4. Walk straight, and cross Edsa (again check for speeding vehicles 
) You can see a small direction arrow pointing to the LEFT. Enter the corridor and then turn RIGHT, you will see the building’s canteen and parking area.
5. Go straight, you will pass by the entrance of YAMAHA music class. The last door is the ground entrance of the local.
6. This is the ground entrance. No need to knock. Walk inside, you will see a stair going up. Climb the stair. Once you are upstairs, knock on the LEFT door, kindly leave your shoes on the shoe rack, enter. Welcome!
